The start of Old Jodhpur

Towering grandally over the busy market of Jodhpur, the well-known Ghanta Ghar, or the Clock Tower, is a time machine into Jodhpur's layered past, engaging the hearts of all who encounter it.

Established in between 1880 and 1911 by Maharaja Sardar Singh, the Ghanta Ghar was erected as a prime landmark close to the storied Mehrangarh Fortress.
