Tucked away in Udaipur’s north end is a time capsule for car lovers and history buffs alike -The Vintage and Classic Car Museum.

The museum is a living testament to the opulent lifestyle and deep automotive legacy of the region's erstwhile rulers. Its history, reaching back back to the early 20th century, is intricately intertwined with the royal past of the Mewar dynasty. The collection housed within the museum results from the passion and vision of His Highness Maharana Sri Bhagwat Singh Mewar, who embarked on a mission to preserve and showcase the impressive vintage and classic cars that in earlier times graced the royal garages. These automobiles, ranging from sleek Rolls Royce to grand Cadillacs, were in earlier times the pride and joy of the Mewar royalty, symbolising their wealth, power, and prestige.
