The MGR Memorial House stands as a tangible piece of Chennai past and pays a fitting homage to Dr MGR, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu who had an indelible impact on state politics. Raised in 1988 and set amid the heart of Egmore, Chennai, this structural marvel pays homage to the grandeur of the Raj era structures. Inside are photographs, memorabilia, awards and belongings belonging to Dr MGR himself who passed away earlier that same year.
