About Tanjore

Thanjavur aka Tanjore is a widely regarded settlement, regarded for three things: Brihadeeswarar place of worship (additionally called as Big Shrine), Tanjore Fort-palace, Tanjore Paintings and Tanjore dancing dolls. But there’s plenty of locations, apart from the above places to visit in Tanjore. Even a week might not be enough to cover the historic, religious and other structural marvels around this place.

My latest collaboration with Tamil nadu Tourism department, helped me to see a number of places around this lovely city, which I am listing out here category wise.
